Budget Blinds Franchisee Cameron Gentry Named IFA Franchisee of the Year

Every year, the International Franchise Association (IFA) recognizes a select group of franchise owners whose leadership, community involvement and commitment to their teams set the standard for the industry. In 2026, that list includes a familiar name to the Budget Blinds family: Cameron Gentry of Budget Blinds in St. George, Utah.
A National Honor for a Local Leader
The IFA named 89 individuals as 2026 Franchisees of the Year, honoring owners across industries for excellence in entrepreneurship, community outreach, workforce development and service to others. Recipients are nominated by their parent brand and selected for their community involvement, their role in building a strong workforce, their willingness to support fellow franchisees, and the entrepreneurial spirit they bring to their business.
Cameron was formally recognized alongside this year's honorees at the IFA26 Advocacy Summit, held September 14–16, 2026, in Washington, D.C., with an awards luncheon on September 15.

What This Recognition Reflects
Cameron represents the full spectrum of excellence in franchise ownership: high performance, entrepreneurial leadership, strong culture, peer support, brand advocacy, and community impact. His selection as an IFA Franchisee of the Year says something important about what's possible within the Budget Blinds system: success can be built by people who combine hard work with the structure, training and support of an established brand.
Award-Winning Franchise Ownership
Cameron's recognition exemplifies what award-winning franchise ownership can look like:
- Dedicated leadership: National recognition like this often reflects strong operational leadership and a commitment to their teams and customer experience, not just business performance. Within his organization, Cameron fosters a strong and healthy culture among his team of roughly 100 employees, encouraging accountability, open communication, and pride in the Budget Blinds brand. He believes in building businesses people are proud to represent, and that philosophy shows how he and his managers operate the teams.
- Commitment to community involvement: IFA's award criteria specifically highlight community contributions, not just performance. As a father and husband, he continues to prioritize time with his wife and children, alongside the many duties required when owning and operating a business. He is committed to giving back to his community through active support of his church, dedicated work with two large orphanages in Mexico, and a steadfast commitment to serving customers with care and professionalism.
- The power of partnership: Franchise ownership pairs an owner's drive with an established brand's training, marketing and operational support. Cameron maintains strong relationships with corporate leaders and is committed to the proven system, with a clear vision for long-term profitability.
